Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Direct Mail Sorter to join our Bairnsdale team. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals seeking stable indoor work with simple, repetitive tasks. You will be responsible for accurately sorting various mail items, ensuring they are directed to the correct channels for efficient delivery. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. No prior experience is necessary; we are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and packages according to established procedures.
- Identify and separate mail based on destination, size, and type.
- Operate basic sorting equipment as required (after training).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure daily sorting targets are met.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support mail centre operations.
