Job Description
Join BlueScope Steel as a Steel Mill Labourer and become a vital part of our heavy industrial operations in Morwell. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of raw materials and finished steel products using various equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as directed, following strict safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with housekeeping standards.
- Support skilled tradespeople and operators in their daily tasks.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or hazards immediately.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Work collaboratively within a team to achieve production targets and operational goals.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous tasks.
