Job Description
Join Kokosing Construction Company as a Roadworks Flagger and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of both our crew members and the public on government roadwork projects across the Columbus area. This is an entry-level position with comprehensive paid training provided. No prior experience is necessary; we will equip you with all the skills and certifications required to succeed in this vital role. You will be responsible for directing traffic, setting up work zones, and maintaining clear communication to facilitate efficient and safe construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic around construction sites using signs, flags, and hand signals.
- Set up and maintain traffic control zones according to established safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with construction crew members, drivers, and the public.
- Monitor traffic flow and adjust controls as necessary to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe work environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of traffic control equipment.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently.

- Must be at least 18 years old.
