Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Financial Planning Intern to join our Wealth Management team in Lismore. This placement offers a unique opportunity for current students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of financial planning. You will work alongside experienced financial advisors, learning the intricacies of wealth management, client engagement, and financial strategy development. Full training and mentorship will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals with little to no prior experience but a strong desire to learn and grow in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist financial advisors with client research and analysis.
- Prepare client meeting documents, presentations, and reports.
- Conduct market research on investment products and financial trends.
- Support administrative tasks, including data entry and record keeping.
- Shadow advisors during client meetings to observe best practices.
- Contribute to the development of financial plans and strategies.
- Learn to use financial planning software and CRM systems.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
