Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and self-motivated City Graffiti Removal Technician to join our team in Vaudreuil-Dorion. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about maintaining urban aesthetics and can work effectively independently. As a key member of our municipal services division, you will be responsible for identifying and safely removing graffiti from various surfaces across the city. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. A company van will be supplied for all work-related travel, allowing you to manage your daily routes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company-provided vehicle to navigate designated routes within Vaudreuil-Dorion.
- Independently identify and assess graffiti on public and private properties.
- Safely and effectively apply appropriate removal techniques and solutions to various surfaces.
- Maintain all assigned equipment, tools, and the company vehicle in excellent condition.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Document completed work, report findings, and track materials used on a daily basis.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding progress and challenges.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 Quebec driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic communication skills in English or French
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience operating power washing or specialized cleaning equipment
- Basic knowledge of different surface materials and appropriate cleaning agents
- Familiarity with the Vaudreuil-Dorion area
