Job Description

Northern Rivers Design & Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Draftsperson (Cadet) to join our growing team in Coffs Harbour. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior drafters and engineers with various project tasks.
- Learn and apply drafting principles under direct supervision.
- Undertake training in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Prepare basic drawings and revise existing plans as directed.
- Organize and maintain project documentation and files.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving.
- Perform general administrative support for the drafting department.
Required Skills
- No prior professional experience required – full training provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in design, architecture, or engineering.
- Eagerness and ability to learn new software and technical concepts quickly.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
