Job Description
Nordstrom in Pembroke Pines is seeking a warm, friendly, and professional individual to join our team as a Luxury Retail Greeter & Host. In this vital front-of-house role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, setting the tone for their premium shopping experience. This is a non-sales position focused entirely on customer service and hospitality, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and attended to. We provide a full uniform and comprehensive training, so no prior experience in sales or luxury retail is required. We are looking for someone with an excellent demeanor, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for creating memorable moments for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all customers upon their arrival, offering a friendly welcome.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing Nordstrom with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Assist customers with general inquiries, providing directions and information about store departments or services.
- Direct customers to appropriate sales associates or departments based on their needs.
- Manage store flow and maintain an inviting entrance area.
- Offer amenities or assistance, such as opening doors or guiding to fitting rooms.
- Maintain a pristine and welcoming store entrance and lobby.
- Handle initial customer complaints or issues with grace and escalate when necessary.
