Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-time Warehouse Sweeper to join our industrial facility in Newark, NJ. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals seeking consistent work on a day roster. As a Warehouse Sweeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our busy distribution center. Your efforts will ensure a safe and productive environment for all employees. Full training will be provided to ensure you are proficient in all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sweeping and scrubbing equipment to clean warehouse floors.
- Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins throughout the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including break rooms, restrooms, and offices.
- Spot clean spills and other debris promptly to prevent hazards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other general cleaning tasks as needed.
