Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Day Shift Guest Services staff on a casual basis at our Footscray location. This role is perfect for someone looking for flexible day shifts and an opportunity to gain experience in the vibrant hospitality industry. You will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable experience from check-in to check-out. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.
  • Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Assist with luggage handling and room assignments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Adhere to all safety and security procedures.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work various day shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus, but not essential.
  • A passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of a second language is highly regarded.
