Job Description
We are urgently seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team in Katy, TX. This is an immediate start position for individuals who are ready to jump in and contribute to a fast-paced kitchen environment. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training for all new hires. If you’re a hard worker with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Wash and sanitize all kitchenware, plates, cutlery, pots, and pans.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with basic food prep as needed, under chef supervision.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Support other kitchen staff as required to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of English for communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting (not required, but a plus).
- Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
