Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Night Shift Pizza Cook to join our team on a part-time roster. If you have a passion for creating great food and thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly during late hours, we want to hear from you. This role is crucial for our evening operations, ensuring our customers receive hot, fresh pizzas throughout the night. Full training will be provided, though some basic kitchen experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor food quality and ensure proper portion control.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and assist with general kitchen cleanup at the end of the shift.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow.
Required Skills
- Ability to work night shifts and a part-time roster.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment (pizza experience highly regarded).
- Current Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Knowledge of Stanthorpe Pizza Palace's menu items.
