Job Description

NSW Ambulance is seeking an Ambulance Dispatch Assistant to join our dedicated team in Griffith. Key Responsibilities
- Answer non-emergency calls and direct inquiries appropriately, ensuring accurate information is conveyed.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic records of calls, incidents, and resource availability.
- Provide administrative support to lead dispatchers, including compiling reports and managing schedules.
- Monitor various communication channels and flag pertinent information to the dispatch team.
- Maintain a calm, professional, and empathetic demeanor during all interactions.
- Adhere strictly to all NSW Ambulance policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist with resource tracking and deployment, particularly during busy periods.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operational flow.
