Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of linen and garments according to established procedures.
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Iron and press linens as required, ensuring high-quality finish.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before and after laundering, reporting any issues.
- Organise and store clean linens neatly, ensuring proper inventory rotation.
- Transport soiled and clean laundry to and from designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift, push, and pull laundry bins (up to 15kg).
