Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in retail? Kmart Australia in Footscray is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Casual Sales Associates. In this role, you will be the face of Kmart, providing excellent service to our customers, assisting with product inquiries, and ensuring our store is well-presented. This is a fantastic chance for someone eager to learn and grow in a dynamic retail environment. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary – just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS)
- Help customers locate products and provide information on features and benefits
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and well-stocked sales floor
- Assist with merchandising and product displays to enhance the customer experience
- Handle customer returns and exchanges professionally
- Support store opening and closing procedures as required
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
