Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cable Pulling Labourers to join our team in Traralgon for casual day shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work with weekly pay in a supportive environment. As a Cable Pulling Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications and utility infrastructure. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to successful candidates. We are looking for individuals who are physically fit, eager to learn, and committed to working safely as part of a dedicated crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the safe and efficient pulling of various types of cables through conduits and trenches.
  • Prepare worksites, including setting up safety signage and equipment.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations at all times.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Commitment to working safely.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Must hold a valid Australian driver's licence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Construction Induction Card (White Card) – essential for site access (can be obtained prior to commencement).
  • Experience working in an outdoor or construction environment (not required, but beneficial).
  • First Aid certification (advantageous).
