Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Prosthetics Manufacturing Assistant to join our dedicated team in a hands-on workshop environment. This role is crucial for supporting the production of high-quality prosthetic devices, working closely with experienced technicians and engineers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a commitment to precision, and an eagerness to learn specialized manufacturing processes. Full training will be provided on specific techniques and materials used in prosthetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of prosthetic components.
- Prepare molds, materials, and tools required for various manufacturing processes.
- Perform sanding, grinding, polishing, and other finishing operations on prosthetic devices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Operate various workshop machinery and hand tools under supervision.
- Document work processes and material usage accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and production efficiency.
