Job Description
Join our team as an Entry-Level, Part-Time Package Handler. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in logistics with no prior experience required. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you are confident and capable in your role. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient sorting, scanning, and loading of packages, playing a critical role in our daily operations to ensure timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles, trailers, and conveyor belts.
- Sort and scan packages according to destination and various categories.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic communication skills to understand instructions.
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a physical, fast-paced environment (e.g., retail, warehouse, manual labor) is a plus, but not required.
