Job Description
We are seeking a talented and meticulous Technical Copywriter to join our dynamic software sector team in Darwin. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content for various audiences, including developers, product managers, and end-users. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and marketing teams to create compelling copy for our software products, APIs, internal tools, and external communications. Your ability to understand intricate software concepts and articulate them simply will be key to your success, ensuring our technical communications are accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with NAB’s brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, and knowledge base articles for software products.
- Craft clear, compelling, and compliant copy for software-related marketing materials, website content, and in-app messaging.
- Collaborate directly with software engineers, product owners, and UX designers to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
- Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and edit existing technical content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of content strategies and style guides for technical communications within the software sector.
- Stay updated on industry best practices for technical writing and content creation in the financial technology space.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts related to software development.
