Caribbean Airlines is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Airline Fleet Planning Intern to join our Route Network team in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of airline fleet and route planning. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals, supporting key activities that contribute to the strategic development of our route network. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with a strong aptitude for learning and a keen interest in data analysis and operational strategy. No prior experience is required; we are committed to providing comprehensive training and mentorship to help you succeed. This is an on-site internship based at our Montego Bay office, offering a valuable chance to immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of a leading regional airline.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Fleet Planning team in gathering and analyzing data related to route performance, market demand, and competitor activity.
- Support the development of new route proposals and optimizations for existing routes.
- Prepare presentations and reports to summarize analytical findings and recommendations.
- Help maintain and update databases relevant to fleet and route network planning.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on strategic network development.
- Conduct research on industry trends, new aircraft technologies, and regulatory changes affecting fleet operations.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the department's objectives.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and intellectual curiosity.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related analytical field.
- Demonstrated interest in the aviation industry, airline operations, or logistics.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or concepts is a plus.
