Job Description

Are you a master of mixology with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences? Revolution Cardiff is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our lively team. You will be responsible for crafting a wide range of drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a high standard of service in our fast-paced environment. We’re looking for individuals who are not only skilled behind the bar but also bring positive energy and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Revolution's standards and recipes.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and stock.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system.
  • Monitor customer alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and fridges.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of drink preparation and mixology techniques.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and operating a POS system.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25kg.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Food and Beverage Service or equivalent.
  • Experience with high-volume cocktail bars.
  • Knowledge of current trends in the beverage industry.
  • Personal Licence Holder (or willingness to obtain one).
