Job Description
Are you a master of mixology with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences? Revolution Cardiff is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our lively team. You will be responsible for crafting a wide range of drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a high standard of service in our fast-paced environment. We’re looking for individuals who are not only skilled behind the bar but also bring positive energy and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Revolution's standards and recipes.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and stock.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and fridges.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge of drink preparation and mixology techniques.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in handling cash and operating a POS system.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25kg.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Food and Beverage Service or equivalent.
- Experience with high-volume cocktail bars.
- Knowledge of current trends in the beverage industry.
- Personal Licence Holder (or willingness to obtain one).
