Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically active Pallet Wrapping & Staging Operative to join our busy distribution centre in Bristol. This is an immediate start, full-time position requiring a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your primary responsibilities will involve the safe and efficient wrapping and staging of pallets, ensuring all goods are prepared for dispatch according to strict company standards and customer requirements. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of our operations and requires keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pallet wrapping machinery to securely wrap goods for transit.
- Manually wrap pallets using shrink wrap where machinery is not suitable or available.
- Stage wrapped pallets in designated areas, ensuring correct labeling and organization.
- Perform quality checks on wrapped pallets to ensure goods are stable and protected.
- Assist with loading and unloading activities as required, safely handling materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
