Job Description
We are looking for professional and safety-conscious Coach Drivers to join our team in Cardiff. As a Coach Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently across scheduled routes, providing a friendly and reliable service. Your role will involve ensuring passenger comfort, adhering to timetables, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a coach on various routes according to scheduled timetables.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with inquiries and ensuring a pleasant journey.
- Collect fares and issue tickets accurately using on-board systems.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and presentability of the vehicle.
- Manage unexpected situations such as traffic delays or diversions professionally.
Required Skills
- Valid UK PCV (Category D) driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
- Excellent driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bus or coach driver.
- Good geographical knowledge of Cardiff and surrounding areas.
- Experience with ticketing systems.
