Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Validation Engineer to join our growing team within Maritime Services. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our cutting-edge systems and equipment. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and documenting validation protocols for various engineering processes and products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans, protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), and reports for equipment, systems, and processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and criticality analyses to determine the scope of validation activities.
- Perform data analysis and statistical evaluation of validation results to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.
- Identify and investigate deviations, non-conformances, and out-of-specification results, implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to integrate validation requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Maintain detailed and accurate validation documentation in compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits as a subject matter expert on validation activities.
- Stay updated with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in validation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Systems) or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a validation engineering role, preferably within a regulated industry (e.g., Defence, Aerospace, Medical Devices, Pharma).
- Strong understanding of validation principles and methodologies (e.g., IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with validation of complex software or control systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.
- Professional certification in Quality or Validation (e.g., CQE, CQA).
- Experience with statistical analysis software.
