Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all required training modules and pass the PCV licence examination.
- Learn and adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Operate transit vehicles safely and efficiently along designated routes.
- Provide excellent customer service to all passengers, assisting with inquiries and ensuring a pleasant journey.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle environment.
- Handle passenger issues and emergencies with professionalism and according to established procedures.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) Northwest Territories driver's licence.
- Clean driving record (abstract required).
- A strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be 18 years of age or older (a legal requirement for PCV).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with Yellowknife road networks and geography.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
