Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assess individual, family, and community health needs and develop care plans.
- Provide immunizations and manage communicable disease outbreaks.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, community organizations, and government agencies.

Required Skills
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) or eligibility for registration.

- Strong assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a community health or public health setting.
- Knowledge of local community resources and services in Vancouver.
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to Vancouver's diverse population.
- Certification in specific public health areas (e.g., immunizations, travel health).
