Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as a Drivers Mate / Porter in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with weekly pay and early morning starts. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in assisting our drivers with the safe and efficient delivery and collection of parcels, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service. If you are physically fit, a team player, and ready to start your day bright and early, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the loading and unloading of parcels and goods at the depot and customer locations.
- Help navigate routes and provide support to the driver to ensure timely deliveries.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Maintain a clean and tidy delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any issues or discrepancies during deliveries to the driver or supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
