Job Description
Are you a natural conversationalist with a passion for helping people find the perfect solution? Dreams is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Specialty Mattress Sleep Consultant to join our vibrant team in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with a talent for high-ticket sales, offering a competitive base salary complemented by significant uncapped commission potential. You will be instrumental in guiding our customers through their journey to better sleep, providing expert advice on our wide range of mattresses, frames, and sleep accessories. Full product training will be provided, equipping you with the knowledge to excel in this rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and consultative manner to understand their sleep needs and preferences.
- Showcase and demonstrate a diverse range of specialty mattresses and related sleep products, highlighting features and benefits.
- Provide expert advice and personalized recommendations, ensuring customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) through effective sales techniques.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including managing orders and handling customer inquiries.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Dreams products, promotions, and competitor offerings.
- Contribute to maintaining an appealing and well-merchandised showroom environment.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a customer-facing sales or retail environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proven ability to persuade, negotiate, and close sales effectively.
- A strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to help people.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and target-oriented.
- Basic computer proficiency for order processing and CRM systems.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-ticket retail sales or a consultative sales role.
- Previous experience selling furniture, bedding, or other home goods.
- An interest in health, wellness, or the science of sleep.
