Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically active Pallet Wrapping & Staging Operative to join our dynamic team in Moncton. This is an immediate start, full-time position crucial to our distribution centre operations. As an Operative, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient wrapping, preparation, and staging of pallets for outbound shipment. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent attention to detail, and are committed to maintaining high safety standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Manually wrap and secure pallets with stretch film to prevent shifting and damage during transit.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks to move wrapped pallets to designated staging areas.
  • Verify accuracy of items on pallets against manifests or picking lists.
  • Inspect pallets for damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly (upg to 50 lbs).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
  • Physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, and bending.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting (even if informal).
  • Experience operating a manual pallet jack or similar equipment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
