Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Gemologist / Diamond Grader to join our team in Sheffield. Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed grading of polished diamonds based on the 4Cs (Cut, Colour, Clarity, Carat Weight) using established methodologies and equipment.
- Operate and maintain gemological instruments such as microscopes, spectroscopes, and diamond testers.
- Document and report grading results accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to strict quality control standards and company grading protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and consistent quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and grading standards.
- Contribute to a safe and secure working environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Required Skills
- GIA Graduate Gemologist (GG) diploma or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in diamond grading and identification.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work meticulously for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using standard gemological equipment.
- Strong ethical conduct and integrity.
