Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Auto Parts Delivery Driver to join our team in Miramichi, NB. This is a full-time position offering consistent Monday to Friday daytime hours, allowing for a great work-life balance. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of NAPA Auto Parts, responsible for safely and efficiently delivering automotive parts to our valued customers, including repair shops and local businesses. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver auto parts to customers within the Miramichi area.
- Verify accuracy of parts against delivery invoices before leaving the store and at customer's location.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of all parts.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, answering questions professionally.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Assist with warehouse duties and general store operations when not on deliveries.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) New Brunswick Driver's License.
- Clean driving record (Driver's Abstract required upon offer).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the Miramichi and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer literacy for processing delivery details.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
