Job Description
Are you passionate about food and eager to kickstart your culinary career? Greene King is looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team in Hull. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with little to no prior experience to learn from experienced chefs, develop essential cooking skills, and gain a nationally recognised qualification. We will provide comprehensive training and support every step of the way, helping you become a skilled professional in the hospitality industry. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs with food preparation and cooking tasks, learning various culinary techniques.
- Learn about portion control, presentation, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Support the kitchen team during service, ensuring smooth operations.
- Receive and store deliveries, checking for quality and freshness.
- Participate actively in all training sessions and apprenticeship programme requirements.
