Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Housing Authority Receptionist for an immediate hire. This is an essential on-site position serving as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and partners. The successful candidate will manage front desk operations, provide administrative support, and ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for all who interact with our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome residents, visitors, and staff with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls to appropriate departments, and take accurate messages.
- Provide general information and assistance to inquiries regarding housing programs and services.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room calendars.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and copying.
- Distribute application forms and provide basic guidance on the application process.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
