Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, investor relations, and risk management. This critical role requires a strategic thinker with proven leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of the global financial landscape. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's long-term growth objectives and shareholder value.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and accounting.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and capital structure to ensure optimal financial health.
- Lead financial planning and analysis, providing insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance.
- Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of strategic initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Manage relationships with investors, analysts, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks, implementing robust internal controls.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- CPA or CFA designation highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in senior financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a CFO or equivalent at a large, complex organization.
- Proven track record of strategic financial planning, capital management, and risk assessment.
- Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly within large banking institutions.
- Global financial management experience, including currency hedging and international tax planning.
- Experience with major M&A transactions and post-merger integration.
- Public company CFO experience.
