Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Armored Truck Washer to join our secure facility in San Francisco. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of our fleet of armored vehicles. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to strict safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a secure and fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided for all cleaning procedures and equipment specific to our operations. A successful candidate must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening due to the sensitive nature of our business and the high-security environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and detail the exterior of armored trucks, ensuring a professional and pristine appearance.
- Operate high-pressure washers, brushes, and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Apply appropriate cleaning solutions, waxes, and polishes to maintain vehicle condition and longevity.
- Inspect vehicles for dirt, grime, road residue, and other foreign matter, ensuring all surfaces are meticulously clean.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the washing bay and surrounding areas.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, significant vehicle damage, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient fleet readiness and operational standards are met.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently after training.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
