Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our facilities team as a Parking Garage Ticket Dispenser Restocker – Maintenance. In this critical on-site role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all parking ticket dispensers in our assigned garages are consistently stocked with tickets and operating smoothly. This position involves performing routine checks, restocking machines, and conducting minor maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure a seamless experience for our customers. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for motivated individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly patrol assigned parking garages to monitor ticket dispenser levels.
- Restock ticket dispensers with new ticket rolls as needed, ensuring continuous operation.
- Perform basic cleaning of ticket dispensers and surrounding areas.
- Conduct minor preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on dispensers (e.g., clearing paper jams, checking power connections).
- Maintain an accurate inventory of ticket rolls and other essential supplies.
- Report any major mechanical issues or required repairs to the senior maintenance team promptly.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies during all tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding machine status and supply needs.
Required Skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (e.g., boxes of tickets).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between local garage sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a stocking, inventory, or light maintenance role (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with basic hand tools.
