Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic CleanTech Innovation Intern with a strong focus on sustainability to join our team in Omaha, NE. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring professional to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving clean technology sector. The intern will support various projects aimed at researching, developing, and implementing sustainable solutions, contributing to a greener future. You will work alongside experienced engineers and environmental scientists, learning about renewable energy, sustainable design, waste management, and environmental impact assessment. This entry-level position is designed for individuals eager to learn and make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on emerging clean technologies, sustainability trends, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to clean energy projects and environmental performance.
  • Support project teams with technical documentation, report generation, and presentation preparation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various sustainability initiatives and innovation projects.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new clean technology applications and solutions.
  • Help organize and maintain project files, resources, and databases.
  • Attend internal and external meetings to learn about project lifecycle and stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Science, Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Electrical), Sustainability Studies, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated strong interest in clean technology, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications
