Job Description
Join Mulberry as a Leather Goods Rivet Setter, where you will play a crucial role in the creation of our exquisite luxury leather products. This full-time, on-site position in Grimsby involves precisely setting rivets using a hand press, primarily from a seated workstation. We are looking for individuals with excellent manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a hand press machine to accurately and securely set rivets onto various leather components and finished goods.
- Inspect leather pieces for quality before and after rivet application, ensuring all finished products meet Mulberry's high standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation in accordance with company health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production targets and uphold quality benchmarks.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, material imperfections, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Handle delicate leather materials with utmost care to prevent damage or blemishes during the riveting process.
