Key Responsibilities
- Participate in field surveys and data collection related to forest health, vegetation, and wildlife.
- Assist in the implementation of forest management plans, including planting, thinning, and invasive species removal.
- Support fire prevention and suppression activities under supervision.
- Maintain and operate various forestry tools and equipment safely.
- Contribute to trail maintenance and infrastructure projects within designated national park areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Learn and apply best practices in ecological restoration and conservation.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interest in environmental conservation and outdoor work.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
- Basic communication skills (written and verbal).
- Valid driver's license or willingness to obtain one.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of local flora and fauna.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
