Job Description
Are you passionate about fashion, styling, and content creation? Hudson’s Bay is seeking a highly motivated and creative Fashion Styling & Editorial Intern to join our dynamic team in Dartmouth. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in visual merchandising, editorial content development, and fashion communication within a leading retail environment. You will work closely with our marketing and visual teams, learning the ins and outs of bringing fashion concepts to life, from seasonal campaigns to digital storytelling. Full training will be provided to ensure you develop valuable skills and contribute meaningfully to our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist stylists and visual merchandisers with preparing looks for photoshoots, displays, and promotional materials.
- Support in the selection and coordination of apparel, accessories, and props for various projects.
- Contribute to the development of editorial content ideas for social media, blog posts, and internal communications.
- Research current fashion trends, designers, and styling techniques to inform creative direction.
- Organize and maintain the styling inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for and in excellent condition.
- Aid in post-production tasks, including tagging images and preparing content for publication.
- Participate in team meetings, offering creative input and learning about project management workflows.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the styling and editorial departments.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for fashion, style, and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Basic understanding of digital content platforms (e.g., Instagram, Pinterest) and social media trends.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion, marketing, communications, or related program.

- Familiarity with photography basics or photo editing software.
