Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently fuel various types of aircraft according to established procedures and regulations.
- Operate specialized ground support equipment, including fuel trucks, tugs, and other ramp vehicles.
- Perform daily inspections of fueling equipment and facilities, ensuring all safety checks are completed.
- Communicate effectively with pilots, ground crew, and air traffic control.
- Marshal aircraft to and from parking positions on the ramp.
- Provide general line services such as baggage handling, lavatory services, and potable water servicing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the airport ramp.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and airport security regulations.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training provided!
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical fitness to perform duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills in French or English (bilingualism is an asset).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn about ground support equipment.
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role or outdoor work environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification (will be provided as part of training if not already held).
