Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Aide to join our team in Colwyn Bay. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in healthcare, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe therapy environment and providing crucial support to our physical therapists and patients. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. You will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our clinic, ensuring all equipment is spotless and ready for use, and assisting patients under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect physical therapy equipment and treatment areas thoroughly between patient uses to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Assist patients with exercises and mobility, as instructed and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and inform appropriate staff when replenishment is needed.
- Transport patients within the clinic as required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to patients and their families.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the therapy gym and common areas.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and answering phones, as needed.
