Job Description
Join the friendly team at Tesco in Swansea as a Self-Checkout Monitor. This is an easy and straightforward role focused on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. You will be the friendly face assisting customers with their self-checkout transactions, answering questions, resolving minor issues, and helping maintain an efficient checkout area. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively greet and assist customers using the self-checkout machines.
- Provide guidance on scanning items, payment methods, and bagging.
- Resolve common self-checkout issues such as price discrepancies or technical glitches.
- Monitor the self-checkout area to prevent theft and maintain tidiness.
- Process age-restricted sales by verifying identification.
- Offer a positive and helpful presence to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Support colleagues as needed to ensure smooth store operations.
