Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our care home team as a Local Authority Care Home Assistant. Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care (washing, dressing, toileting), mobility, and feeding.
- Support residents in participating in social and recreational activities, fostering a stimulating and engaging environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and report any changes in residents' condition to senior staff.
- Administer medication in accordance with training and company policies (after appropriate training and certification).
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and colleagues, always maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Adhere to all health and safety, safeguarding, and local authority policies and procedures.
