Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Live-in Housekeeper to manage the daily cleanliness, organisation, and smooth running of a private residence located in Belfast. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards and contributing to a comfortable home environment. The successful candidate will be discreet, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic. Accommodation will be provided as part of the compensation package.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all areas within the residence.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and care of delicate fabrics.
- Manage household supplies and inventory, including ordering when necessary.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving when required.
- Oversee wardrobe management and organisation.
- Ensure all household equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
- Attend to guests and perform light errands as requested.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a similar housekeeping role, preferably in a private household.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage a demanding schedule.
- Discretion, trustworthiness, and respect for privacy.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid UK driving license (desirable but not strictly essential if within walking/public transport distance).
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal training in hospitality or household management.
- Experience with high-end fabrics and delicate materials.
- First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of basic household maintenance.
