Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and lasting impression, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for everyone. This on-site position requires a professional and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival and departure
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications via phone, email, and in-person
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Answer guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Manage cash and card payments, ensuring accuracy in all transactions
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Perform general administrative duties as required

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within hospitality (minimum 6 months)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Opera or Fidelio
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond English
  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
