Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Golf Ball Retriever to join our team at a premier leisure facility in Slough. This vital role involves the efficient and safe collection of golf balls from our driving range during early morning shifts, ensuring the facility is ready for our customers each day. Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialized golf ball retrieval machinery safely and efficiently across the driving range.
- Thoroughly collect all golf balls, ensuring the range is completely cleared for daily operations.
- Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on retrieval equipment, reporting any faults immediately.
- Maintain a clean and tidy appearance of the driving range, including litter picking.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Assist with other general outdoor maintenance tasks as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating any issues or concerns promptly.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and work outdoors for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, sun, cold).
- High level of reliability and punctuality, particularly for early morning shifts.
- Strong attention to detail for thorough golf ball collection.
- Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to operational procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating small vehicles or machinery (e.g., utility vehicles, lawnmowers).
- Basic understanding of golf course or driving range operations.
- Valid UK driving license.
