Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Ice Block Bagging Worker to join our production team at our cold storage facility in Decatur, GA. This entry-level position is crucial for maintaining our product quality and efficient distribution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a consistently cold environment, utilizing waterproof gear, and performing repetitive tasks with precision. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ice bagging and sealing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor product quality, ensuring ice blocks meet company standards.
- Lift, stack, and move bagged ice blocks onto pallets for storage or shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the cold factory.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, especially when working in cold conditions and with machinery.
- Assist with inventory checks and product rotation as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including waterproof and insulated clothing, at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cold environment for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy bags (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Attention to detail for quality control and packaging accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or production environment (not required, but a plus).
