Job Description

Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in IT support? Accenture is offering an exciting IT Support Intern (Level 1) opportunity in our Footscray office. This is a hands-on technical training program designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in IT. You will gain foundational knowledge and practical skills in a supportive environment, working alongside experienced IT professionals. This internship is your gateway to understanding the core aspects of IT infrastructure and user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support and assistance to internal users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new equipment.
  • Document support issues, resolutions, and procedures in our ticketing system.
  • Participate in IT asset management activities, including inventory tracking and equipment refresh cycles.
  • Learn to identify, diagnose, and resolve basic network connectivity problems.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff on various projects and initiatives to enhance IT services.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of computer systems and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
