Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Remote Public Works Customer Support Specialist. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while making a tangible difference in public service. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for residents and businesses, addressing inquiries related to various public works services such as utilities, waste management, road maintenance, and infrastructure projects. You will provide accurate information, resolve issues efficiently, and escalate complex concerns to appropriate departments. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding public works services.
- Provide accurate information about service schedules, policies, and procedures for areas like water, sewer, waste collection, and road work.
- Document all interactions and resolutions accurately in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Collaborate with various public works departments to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
- Educate customers on self-service options and online resources.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction in all interactions.
