This is an entry-level position designed for those eager to learn, with no prior healthcare experience required. We provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with all the necessary skills to support our nursing staff and provide outstanding patient care within our state-of-the-art dialysis unit. You will be instrumental in ensuring patients receive comfortable and effective treatment, contributing to their overall well-being and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified nurses in the delivery of high-quality patient care during dialysis treatments.
- Prepare the dialysis unit, including machines and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient sessions.
- Monitor patients' comfort and welfare throughout their treatment, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Help patients with mobility, personal care, and nutritional needs as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment within the dialysis unit, adhering to strict infection control policies.
- Accurately record patient vital signs, observations, and other relevant data.
- Provide empathetic support and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all Nuffield Health policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
